Power Acoustik BAMF5500/1D Review: Power Acoustik BAMF5500/1D 1700W Class D Mono Amplifier. I would not listen to the Fire Hazard review. This amp DOES have a protection mode ( all amps made in the last 15 years do even the SUPER cheap ones). Fire Hazards are most likely caused my wiring that is why this amp has 4 Fuses, again to help protect you. i hooked this bad boy with to its own MDF board with Sting Roadkill on the back of the board to help eliminate vibration to the circuit board. wires up with all String 4g HPM series wire. its ...
